Summary[]
Terri is up for promotion at the hospital. She thinks Dr. Kenderson is hitting on her, and because she won't cooperate, she's convinced she'll lose the new position. Jack talks Terri into telling Dr. Kenderson she's married. Her little white lie turns into a monster when Dr. Kenderson invites himself and his wife over for dinner. Jack is forced to play Terri's husband on crutches while Janet and Larry pose as French-speaking house guests.
Problems arise when Mrs. Kenderson turns out to speak fluent French and begins hitting on Jack. Dr. Kenderson hits on Terri, but Janet rescues her by breaking cover and tricking Kenderson into giving Terri her promotion.
