In the episode "Janet's Secret" Ruth and husband Roland (Macon McCalman) visit Janet, not knowing that one of her roommates is a guy. Janet, Jack, and Cindy attempt to conceal the truth about their living arrangement by telling her parents that they are married; upon finding out the truth, this apparently relieves Janet's mom and dad, until they realize, "Wait a minute!, if they are not married...then they must be...Living together!!!", which causes her to faint!
