About Nancy[]
When the roommates all think Ralph is contemplating suicide because his brother embarrassed him in front of Nancy, Bart's buxom blonde secretary, whom Ralph really likes very much, Furley, in getting them to do all kinds of favors for him, practically waiting on him hand and foot, finally tells them they should throw a party for him and invite Nancy.
At the party, when Larry not only tells Jack and Janet that Ralph is not going to kill himself, but, also, that they're "being had", Jack tells Ralph that he has just put poison in the wine and Ralph only has a few minutes to live. Furley finally fesses up confesses that he never intended to kill himself. He only did it to get affection and attention. Nancy, whom, as it's also revealed, has a liking for him, tells him that she likes men who can admit they need love.
