Inga first met Jack Tripper at The Regal Beagle. He is terrified at the prospect of skiing, but doesn't want to hinder his chances of scoring with the lovely ski instructor. She cajoles him into skiing down the dreaded "Suicide Run" skiing route, which has a "Flying Dutchman" curve with a fifty-foot drop! When the weather forecast calls for no snow, which prohibits any skiing, Jack pretends to be disappointed, but, when snow begins to fall moments later, he is forced into trying to ski, when he is accidentally pushed down the hill by Janet, a person from the rescue team retrieves Jack and his ski which was hung up in the tree which he wound up in, after "crawling" down a cliff half-way down the mountain!
Jack then tries to get Inga to have a nice quiet intimate evening with him, but Inga, thinking that Jack is an experienced skier, opts to call it an evening, insisting "I'm going to need plenty of rest, if we are to ski down "Suicide Run" tomorrow!"
